What is your neighbourhood like? What inspires you? And what happens when dance meets film?

Over the past few months, young people have been creating their own dance films in workshops across Cologne and the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia – including as part of the Moovy NRW programme and other workshop projects. This has resulted in a wide variety of short films: some loud, some quiet, some funny, some thought-provoking.

The films explore friendships, dreams, solidarity, boundaries and other themes that matter to young people. They show familiar places from new angles and highlight just how diverse dance can be – as movement, expression and storytelling.

A programme brimming with creative ideas, fresh perspectives and real-life stories.
