XR Exhibitions

 many formats – one experience

In this XR programme, performing arts, literature and new digital arts intertwine to create a multi-layered overall experience. The works have been selected so that the theatre and exhibition programmes and the XR works complement one another; they raise similar questions regarding aesthetics or content.

The audience is not merely a spectator, but part of an open dialogue. Encounters, exchange and shared experiences are integral to the programme.

At TanzFaktur, an XR exhibition meets the stage productions *Electra* by Reut Shemesh and *Phantasy Propaganda: Flesh Modality* by Jimin Seo. Discussions with artists and the audience create space for exchange and deepen engagement with the works.

At the Tanzmuseum, the focus is on XR works in which language and narrative play a central role. Text is also a defining artistic element in the work of the author, choreographer and dancer Raimund Hoghe, to whom the Tanzmuseum’s annual exhibition is dedicated, and serves as a space of resonance for the immersive XR works.
